The preseason No. 1 team in the country received another accolade Tuesday. The Texas Longhorn running backs CJ Baxter and Quintrevion Wisner were selected to the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award.

A pair of KU tailbacks have been named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List, an annual award given to college football's best running back.

Two Tennessee running backs have been named to the Doak Walker Award preseason watch list. Redshirt sophomore DeSean Bishop and senior transfer Star Thomas were on the list for the award, which is given to the best running back in college football.
