Now, Disney is rolling out Splash Mountain’s replacement, which is based on “The Princess and the Frog,” the 2009 animated musical that introduced Disney’s first Black princess.

A Disney Parks cast member dressed as The Princess and the Frog’s protagonist, New Orleans restaurateur-to-be Tiana, occasionally appeared around the park, along with other characters from the film.
