DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Disney and NASCAR announced today the release of a new Disney-Pixar Cars/NASCAR co-branded playset and six newly designed die-cast racers from Mattel.

The new Disney•Pixar Cars/NASCAR Lane Change Race Playset from Mattel is a 2.5-foot track set modeled after Los Angeles Raceway — a venue from the first Cars film.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “inside Piston Peak, guests will be able to see and explore the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and more all set within the Disney and Pixar Cars universe.

The fun Cars characters are designed in 1:55 scale with special NASCAR-inspired designs. Disney and Pixar's Cars NASCAR die-cast vehicles mash together the two worlds with a twist on 2 iconic brands!

Disney is putting in the work to make their new Pixar's Cars- themed land as true to the form as possible by building an offroad dirt track for its vehicle rides to utilize once the park opens.
