Illinois Senator Dick Durbin is calling for more transparency from the Justice Department over a controversial meeting with convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. Durbin said the Trump administration is possibly trying to arrange a "corrupt bargain.

The Justice Department’s No. 2 official has met with Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former girlfriend of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Justice Department says officials want to know if the imprisoned Epstein associate has information about anyone else “who has committed crimes against victims.”
