DENVER (KDVR) — Since launching an initiative nine years ago, the Denver Art Museum is expecting to see its millionth kid pass through its doors for free this fall.

Kent Monkman’s large painting “mistikôsiwak (Wooden Boat People): Resurgence of the People,” is now on view at the Denver Art Museum, through Aug. 17.
