A 54-year-old Blakeslee man died after his kayak capsized in the Delaware River. His body was recovered Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say a body recovered from the Delaware River is believed to be that of a 24-year-old Trenton man who went missing while swimming on Tuesday evening.

The Riegelsville free bridge monitor was discovered unresponsive pre-dawn Wednesday by a co-worker after missing a scheduled safety inspection.

WILLIAMS TWP., Pa. - Crews spent more than seven hours off of Canal Road in Williams Township searching for a man who -- according to 911 call recordings -- slipped off a sandbar and into the river.

On Wednesday at 11:48 p.m. an updated flood warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Thursday at 5 a.m. for Delaware County.

"The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Delaware, White Clay Creek Near Newark affecting New Castle County. For the White Clay Creek, including Newark, Minor flooding is forecast.
