GREEN RIVER - Green River resident Shon Dee Snyder, 46, died April 18, 2004, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, following a sudden illness.

Named after a former Fairfax City mayor, the George Snyder Trail will connect Chain Bridge Road to the Wilcoxon Trail at Draper Drive, south of Fairfax Boulevard.

Snyder was convicted of killing her two children by hanging them from a beam in the basement of their Albany Township home in 2019.
