This story has been updated with new information. A fire in a residential unit of the Palm Springs Homeless Navigation Center was put out within minutes Saturday, according to Palm Springs Fire.

A large fire that broke out at the Ramon Mobile Home Park in Palm Springs Saturday, July 19 damaged five homes and resulted in one being person being transported to a hospital, Palm Springs Fire said.
