DeGrazia kept up a frantic pace, painting, traveling, making appearances, spending time in the gallery and with Locust at her home. “He painted from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. every night,” Locust said.
The magazine continued to feature his work. In June, a painting by DeGrazia will be on the cover once again, when Arizona Highways celebrates the prolific artist’s 110th birthday, which is June 14.
Some of DeGrazia’s paintings, from when he lived in Bisbee, are on display and have been since January. “It's a fantastic look into Bisbee's past," Anderson said.
