New Haven Police responded to this area just before 1:30 a.m. We’re told a 33-year-old New Haven man, walked into Yale Police headquarters, with a gun shot wound to the stomach.

Officers responded to a parking lot at 296 Whalley Ave. around 1 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2023, and found a man, later identified as Wint, who had been shot, the New Haven Police Department said.
