Veteran midfielder Rose Lavelle was an immediate contributor in her first match for the United States Women's National Team since December, logging a goal and assist in a 4-0 shutout of Ireland.

Lavelle last played for the national team in December against the Netherlands. Patterson, making her third start for the national team, scored on a header off a short corner from Lavelle in the 18th minute.
