The University of Rhode Island is gauging interest in a custom license plate to benefit a university fund. At least 600 pre-orders are required by the Rhode Island DMV before production can begin.

The college needs 1,000 Tennessee residents to commit to purchasing the custom plate. Interested drivers must provide their name, address, and initial $35 fee by completing a form online.
