The change will occur in August 2023, the school district said in a news release. After elementary school, both Crockett and Shaw students will proceed to Martin Middle School and Miller High School.

This decision comes after the district examined the condition of Crockett Elementary and found that it's no longer up to standards. The school was last rebuilt in 1969.
