KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Country Club Plaza’s new owners have released their plans for what the future may hold for the entertainment district during the 93rd Plaza Art Fair.

The Lubbock Country Club, 3400 Mesa Road, is preparing to begin construction on a new clubhouse. With this, the clubhouse will temporarily move into the former Fresh American, 3715 114th St.

The Philadelphia Cricket Club is the oldest country club in the U.S., and it originally focused on cricket, then tennis, before golf entered the picture in the late 1800s.
