Less than a week after the Spirit of Detroit was outfitted with a University of Michigan shirt in honor of the university's 200th anniversary, the statue got a new shirt on Thursday.

One week ago, the Spirit of Detroit was given a blue, University of Michigan shirt to mark its bicentennial since it was founded in Detroit in 1817. It later moved to Ann Arbor.
