Local authorities plan to expand the airports in Phu Quoc, Chu Lai and Con Dao through public-private partnerships.

Vietjet Air plans to begin round-trip flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao starting this month using the COMAC ARJ21 aircraft.
