SWISHER, Iowa (KCRG) - The owners of a popular coffee shop and restaurant in Swisher say they’re looking to sell their labor of love as they look towards retirement.

A mixed-use development proposed for the Portsmouth Chevrolet site at the Route 1 Bypass and Coakley Road intersection includes a coffee shop and two 4-story residential buildings.

Proposed hours for the restaurant are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The coffee shop proposes operations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The businesses will employ as many as nine people.
