Friday around noon, an on-duty Citrus County Fire Rescue truck got stuck in a sandy intersection in Inverness Village 4. It became so mired in the sand that a tow truck was called to rescue it.

It’s not getting any better. The streets in Inverness Village 4, a Citrus County neighborhood, are only getting worse, more destroyed, and more covered in deep canyons and vicious sand-traps.
