Chris graduated from Loyola University with honors. In 2007, he moved to Baton Rouge where he met his wife, Jamie. They have two children, Owen and Lila and two furry Pomeranians, Rocco and Reggie.

Chris has more than 30 years in journalism stretching from newspapers to magazines to online media, and has been honored with several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and others.
