Two mates on the way to the pub raised the alarm with a "couple of little F-bombs" before helping to stop a fire spreading at a popular Broome Chinese restaurant.

The Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry says putting the town's long-awaited sobering-up facility in the centre of town would have an undue impact on businesses and tourism.
