The State Bar of California announced Friday that its embattled leader, who has faced growing pressure to resign over the botched February roll out of a new bar exam, will step down in July.

California will not administer its newly developed bar exam in July, after the state’s Supreme Court on Friday ordered a return to the previous test following a disastrous rollout in February.
