(FOX40.COM) — A bridge in El Dorado County that was built over 100 years ago is closed after a “reckless” driver hit the bridge’s wooden railing early Sunday, county officials said.

El Dorado County officials have already classified the bridge as "structurally deficient" and obsolete. About 280 people cross the bridge a day, on average, officials say.
