Charles Stewart Parnell's Pub was closed for the first time in 13 years last Sunday. And not because the place was still suffering from a St. Patrick's Day hangover.

The Charles Stewart Parnell has the spirit of an Irish pub, but it avoids the trappings. It's a neighborhood spot that isn't blaring with Paddy-themed kitsch or chest-thumping drinkers.
