Peoria's 2nd District City Council seat changed hands Tuesday night as Alex Carmona was sworn in as the district's new representative, replacing longtime councilman Chuck Grayeb.

Peoria Christian hurdler brought home gold at the IHSA boys state track meet, while Delavan, Princeton and Bureau Valley athletes also won titles.
