CEDAR LAKE — Two Gary men are in custody after they were caught driving a U-Haul filled with allegedly stolen furniture and appliances from a recently-sold home in Cedar Lake's Lakeside subdivision.

LAKE STATION — A pipe connected to Lake Station City Hall's fire sprinkler system burst Saturday, causing "catastrophic" damage to offices that forced the building to shut down Monday and Tuesday.
