After the arrest of escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante following a 14-day manhunt, Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that a K-9 officer was ultimately the one to subdue him allowing for his capture.

The dog, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, belongs to the Border Patrol’s equivalent of a SWAT team, a unit that can be deployed near the nation’s borders and coasts to assist local authorities.
