Authorities are investigating the death of an "unknown male" found in a burning car Monday night as a homicide.

A Roanoke native now living in Texas joined search and rescue groups in flood recovery efforts after historic flooding in Southern Texas.

Kenith D. Biesboer, age 68, of Park Forest, IL formerly of Grant Park, IL and Chicago Heights, IL passed away Sunday, February 2, 2003. Survived by loving nieces and nephews.
