On Friday, Canoo unveiled its latest innovation, the American Bulldog electric truck. The EV pickup is a derivative of the Screaming Eagle that was delivered to the US Army in 2022 for testing.

Canoo claims the pickup will be available in RWD or AWD versions with motors exceeding 500 hp, a payload of as much as 1,800 lbs, and a range of more than 200 miles.

Canoo feels it is making the right moves to turn the corner. It recently got $113 million in combined incentives for its assembly and battery module manufacturing facilities.
