A migrant dad is being deported from the US after he took a wrong turn on a California freeway and ended up in Mexico, according to his lawyer. Erick Hernandez came to the US from El Salvador when he was 14, making him a recipient of DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, NBC San Diego reported.

Erick Hernandez, a California DACA recipient, was detained by border officials after accidentally crossing into Mexico after missing an exit on the highway. Hernandez is facing a possible deportation to El Salvador just weeks before his wife is expected to give birth.
