The credit derivatives market can still meet tough year-end targets for automating trade processing despite the current market upheaval, a leading support company said on Monday.

The highest rates are CDs with maturities of 18 months and under. This can make shorter-maturity CD ladders more appealing than those with longer maturities,” says Tumin.

These types of CDs may be offered with standard, lower interest rates or promotional, higher interest rates. Online banks currently offer the best high-yield CDs with rates around 5.00% APY.
