BUTLER COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is taking steps to improve emergency response and ensure community safety by better equipping first responders.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones announced via social media that two subcontractors who were working on a construction project at the jail were arrested Wednesday by ICE officials.

Butler and Davis were both arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail. Butler was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
