Custer State Park in western South Dakota will have an antelope hunting season later this year, its first since 2016.

The Game, Fish and Parks Commission voted recently to have an antelope hunting season in Custer State Park this fall.

Hunting rules in South Dakota Residents and nonresidents must be 12 years old by Dec. 31 to hunt. Residents under age 16 must complete a HuntSAFE course.
