Columbia Police have charged a man in connection with a shooting that took place earlier this month on Trenholm Road and are searching for a second suspect.

A news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation said New Haven Road will close from around Warren Drive to the Woodstock Community entrance starting Monday.

Columbia Police say a man shot in the leg Saturday was found to have been wounded near the A-1 Food Store on Monticello Road. The injury wasn’t life-threatening.

The closure starts Monday and runs through mid-August. It is connected to interchange improvements for U.S. Highway 63 and Grindstone Parkway.
