Today (Friday, August 8) sees the first day of this year's Bristol International Balloon Fiesta kick off with hopefully two mass ascents, a Night Glow, and a whole schedule of stunt displays, live music, meet and greets, workshops, and other activities for visitors to get stuck into.

The Bristol Balloon Fiesta comes around every year, and yet is always just as exciting as ever. There’s something magical about seeing hot-air balloons in real life, especially when there’s so many of them dancing across the sky.

The sky above Bristol is set to be filled with hot air balloons again as the annual International Balloon Fiesta returns. Tens of thousands of people are expected to descend on Ashton Court Estate from 8-10 August to watch more than 100 balloons take off and see the iconic nightglows.
