It’s been nearly a decade since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched alongside the Nintendo Switch, and in that time, the game has seen a ton of updates, DLCs, and content expansions.

It would be nice if Nintendo could do justice to its own exclusives, however, which is why I'm glad to report that Breath of the Wild looks totally different on the Switch 2.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Editions will be available when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, 2025.
