The Atlanta Braves reportedly are willing to trade one of their fan favorite players, but maybe not right now.

The hobbled Braves are adding another reinforcement to their rotation, having agreed to a trade with the Yankees that will send veteran righty Carlos Carrasco to Atlanta for a player to be named or cash,

The Atlanta Braves' season has not gone as fans and many experts expected. Making the postseason is unlikely, and the team could be active sellers at the trade deadline.

MLB.com's Mark Bowman provided an update on the potential Atlanta Braves designated hitter Marcell Ozuna heads to the NL West at the MLB trade deadline.

According to The Athletic's Jim Bowden, while the Braves "are not looking to move on from" veteran second baseman Ozzie Albies, they will still "listen to inquiries" leading up to the July 31 trade deadline.

Ozuna has the right to veto any trade the Braves want to include him in due to a stipulation in his contract, and recently, MLB insider Jon Heyman of the New York Post broke down Ozuna’s mindset on that front.

In their trade deadline preview, McDaniel and Passan named five potential suitors for Ozuna, while assigning the three-time All-Star a 70 percent chance of being traded by Jul. 31 at 6 p.m. EST.

Los Angeles has had a solid season so far, leading the NL West, but there is room to grow ahead of another World Series run. Most notably, The Dodgers' bullpen needs a boost, as offseason acquisitions Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates have not performed to expectations, creating a hole in the pitching staff.

The New York Yankees are reportedly making a trade to for an All-Star third baseman who will fill their greatest position of need for the stretch run.
