Hundreds of teachers from several school districts across the state gathered at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver on Thursday for a Day of Action rally ahead of proposed funding cuts to education.

An estimated 2,000 teachers are expected to show up at a Thursday rally hosted by the Colorado Education Association, the state’s largest teacher’s union.
