The brant is a small goose that migrates south along the Atlantic Ocean coastline, so it’s often spotted in New York state and New England. It's a special find in Michigan.
But when he replayed the recordings later he noticed a small bird image in the spectrogram. Skip to around 17 minutes in the video if you would like to see it for yourself.
Perhaps we've just become less naive, but technology has become far less wonderful. Or at least that's what I thought. But then I watched a guy save an image to a bird.
