BRADFORD diners were offered a taste of “authentic Cantonese cuisine” when new restaurant Mayflower opened on Great Horton Road in February 1980.

Victor Wedderburn's photos, which capture 1980s African-Caribbean life in the city, will be shown at the National Science and Media Museum as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
