Linbrook Bowl stands as the oldest among the remaining bowling alleys in Orange County. It is also a time capsule into the mid-century modern sub-style of “Googie” Architecture.

A beloved Sacramento bowling alley will be closing permanently after the building was damaged by a fire last month.

The bowling alley changed, too, recently undergoing renovations - adding new computers, monitors, seating and carpeting. In recent years, the owners added a bar. Local bands played there.
