A LaPorte man serving a 44-year prison term for repeatedly molesting a young girl received a fair trial, according to a new ruling by the Indiana Court of Appeals.

Gov. Mike Braun added Porter and LaPorte counties to the list of 35 Indiana counties, including Lake, that he's declared disaster areas due to severe spring storms.
