KEARNEY — Founded in the early 1980s by Norris Marshall, BluePrint Engines began in a rented garage and now occupies a 150,000-square-foot facility in east Kearney.

Marshall Engines rebuilt 300,000 engines before rebranding to BluePrint Engines. The newly named company has built 60,000 high-performance engines since the switch began in 2007.
