BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Blue Bayou Water Park will not open this summer, officials said. Blue Bayou’s counterpart, Dixie Landin’ Theme Park, will open on Friday, May 23.

The Dixie Landin' Theme Park near I-10 in Baton Rouge will be opening for the 2025 summer season on May 23. But the adjacent Blue Bayou Water Park will be closed this year, the park said.
