Archaeologists in Iran have discovered an ancient cone-shaped skull that is believed to have belonged to a teen girl.

Allegheny County Police said the homeowner found a skull inside, but according to County Property Records, the homeowner is Charles R. Beltz, who disappeared 20 years ago.

Examination of the cone-headed skull revealed diagnostic features that allowed the team to determine that the skeleton belonged to a young woman—likely less than 20 years old.

Allegheny County police said their detectives were called to a home in Pitcairn on Wednesday following a report that a human skull was found. Police were called to the 700 block of Seventh Street.
