In May, the NH House Children and Family Law Committee approved an amended version of SB 72 that included language giving parents much more control over their children’s health care.

Supporters call SB 12 a victory for parental rights. Critics say it silences LGBTQ+ students and promotes discrimination. The bill is now on Gov. Abbott’s desk.
