The rooftop space at the Current Hotel, which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, isn’t new: The hotel first opened in 2019 and was purchased by the Oxford Commons group in 2021.

Auction paperwork indicates the hotel is more than $15 million in debt. This financial trouble for the Doubletree appears to be catching a lot of people by surprise.
