Florida Democratic lawmakers made their much-anticipated visit to "Alligator Alcatraz" on Saturday afternoon.

Joel Melendez, known as Junior, is being remembered by his family as a loving father and husband, and a hard worker. His wife shared that they have an 11-month-old baby and another child on the way.
