Lighter carbon-fiber parts, added muscle everywhere, and a top speed that trips a limiter at 186mph are the highlights of BMW’s upcoming M3 CS Touring xDrive. And it’s something BMW has never done before. Sure, the Bavarian automaker has made a few M3 wagons in its time, but it’s never made a CS range-topping version before.

BMW is expanding its legendary CS package to the wagon version of the M3, which is not sold in the United States. This high-output wagon uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 to send 543 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic before hitting the xDrive AWD system.

With the first-ever BMW M3 CS Touring, BMW M GmbH is adding another special-edition model to its line-up in the high-performance sports car segment. The latest new addition to the manufacturer’s most popular range builds on the success of the BMW M3 Competition Touring with M xDrive and blends that car’s very distinctive character profile with even greater potential for emotionally exhilarating performance.
