On the Boeing 787-9 aircraft, premium economy is made up of 28 seats arranged in a 2-3-2 formation. The seat pitch, the distance between rows, is one of the biggest in the industry at 42 inches.

BA is scheduled to operate 11 routes with its 787-10s in March with a focus on the United States and Barbados.
