Guam Civil Defense Administrator Charles Esteves pleaded not guilty Friday to two misdemeanor charges stemming from a reported March assault inside a Washington, D.C. hotel room.

The Superior Court of Guam grand jury handed down indictments late Tuesday night charging officials at the Guam Office of Civil Defense with multiple charges related to official misconduct.
